I recently purchased a Mac and had it loaded up with Photoshop Elements 6 but in the Mac version the organizer is different! On my old PC I had all my photos in the Organizer, categorized, tagged and in groups and albums. I can't figure out how to do that with Bridge. Does anyone out there use this? Anyone have any suggestions?
I don't know if you are still looking for an answer to this question or not... and I don't have the answer regarding Bridge. I faced the same problem (how to use it etc), did a bit of research, and discovered that Bridge tends to crash. :-( So I decided to go with Picasa (Picasa.com... it's FREE!), and haven't had any problems.
Thanks! I actually decided to go with iPhoto and have been very happy with it. I have it set up so that it plays very nicely with Photoshop Elements and I'm finding it to be a great organizing tool.
I have a mac and the adobe bridge and have had the same problem of it crashing. How did you get your iphoto to work with your photo shop elements 6? thanks Kay
In the preferences I set up PSE as my external editor, so whenever I click on Edit in iPhoto it opens up PSE. I've also created a folder on my desktop simply called 'Edits' and, when I'm done working on my photo, or if I want to make an interim save to go back to later I save from PSE to this desktop folder. When I'm done I re-import the completed copy back to iPhoto and delete the copy from my desktop folder. It's kind of a work-around, but I don't find it too cumbersome.
