Digital Scrapbooking 101

I was just curious what other people do with digital graphics. I've used them for many things other then scrapbooking and I'm sure there are some other great ideas out there. Go here to see pictures of the different ways I've used digital graphics.

Someone needs to do a greeting card template in Photoshop - that would be very cool! I believe if you do 4.25x5.5 you can do it all on a 8.5x11 sheet and just fold it in half and in half again. I have often done a 4x5.25 card front or interior and attached it to a cardstock card that was 5.5x8.25.

Lynda ... I use a program called Hallmark Card Studio 2008 Deluxe. I think I bought it at Staples (in Canada). It's really great and helps you out with the printing. As for the envelopes I also buy them at Staples in a large box (Card size) and it works out great~!!!

Great....I'll go get sizes straight in my head and pick up a box on envelopes! At the prices of cards today, this would be a bargain! Appreciate your comment.

You can also use digital graphics in home decor, garage sale flyers, etc. The possibilites are endless because all you need are measurements and you can create exactly what you need. Just this week I helped my daughter design her three sided board for a class report...truly endless possiblities!

I also make all of my own cards and can personalize them as I need too. You can make 2 cards from 1 8-1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock, by cutting in half which will make the card size 4-1/4" x 5-1/2 so after cutting full sheet in half then fold each half in half again and voila two note cards. Now the envelope, I use a template but essentially you can take a piece of 8" x 8" piece of paper either printed or plain and put the card down in the very center of the square on the diagnal and and fold the corners of the square to each edge of the card and to the center of the card , in other words wrap the paper around the card and you have an envelope. I am also attaching a template for an envelope that you can print on the wrong side of your paper and then cut out.

Love the ideas, it is always fun to see what others are up to. I have done home decor and some hybrid projects, I have also used some CU stuff on my banners and fliers for our business.
