Well, this year as in the last three years, I'm making calendars for my family. I am also making an explosion box for my mom and my MIL. And last but not least, I am altering some blocks for my nieces with their names on them.
Last year I did layouts of all the customes through the years that I made for the boys for Halloween. I printed three books at Shutterfly, one for each, and I was surprised at how much they actually liked them! Usually they look at things and throw them aside to grab the next thing, but they all opened them up and immediately started reviewing the pages for quiet some time. Made me happy.
I like the recipe idea....to create little books with Grandma's recipes....your cousins would even want the book!
I am this year framing a layout for my mum & dad even though they dont enjoy it as much as I would wish, My family just dont get the love i put into my "stuff"
I am making a copy of the stories at hand system for my mother. She was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and I thought it would be nice to have a place to write the stories while she still can.
I designed a cute little coupon and am making a coupon book for my husband.
I'm throwing myself a Holiday Dinner party and designed a menu, place cards, and invitations.
I'm still trying to get everything together for the holidays, so we'll see what else I come up with before then! I'm trying to be super prepared this year, just in case I need my husband to take over the holiday stuff for a while.

Oh! I just printed off certificates from restaurants.com and put them on decorative paper, folded them up and put them in cute envelopes for unexpected friend gifts.
Until the 20th restaurants.com has a coupon code for 80% off, so I got $25 gift certificates for $2! It's a great idea for extra gifts, and if you don't give them out you can use them yourself. The code is "SURPRISE" if anyone wants to check it out.
Thanks...still no success and the site is really slow. I selected several areas of St. Louis and it came up with no restaurants in a 15 minute mile radius.....if they cannot do St. Louis.....oh well...it may be good for other locations!
