Learning to use "layers" ....

I hope I know a little of what I'm talking about, but could someone step in with a tutorial or good description of using layers on a LO. I'm not talking a lesson on Photoshop layers....but taking lots of embellishments and making them look attractive...sorta like what Len did with her latest page in the gallery...(I don't have a link to it). I think it is the latest trend!

Oh Paula, I am so anxious to watch those. I tried the layering/cluster one and the audio was so low, I couldn't hear it. Haven't tried the shadowing one, yet. But thank you for sending me there. Perhaps I can get an idea just by watching. Thanks so much. -L

Thanks so much Paula! I love the video on the layering. I learned lots of little tidbits :) I had my volume turned up to the max and it was still really quiet. She did a great job explaining things like 'kissing' which is something I have never heard of. I am looking forward to watching her shadowing tutorial next. Thanks again for the link to Samara's video.

Yea, the volume is VERY low on it. I just plugged in my iPod earphones and it was still very low.

I did contact Samara about the volume of the videos. She said she planned to redo them but didn't know when as she was so busy. The parts I did get to hear, Brooke, were good!

Im getting a little better at clustering....i keep trying but nowhere as good as a lot of peoples layouts....Len is amazing she might be able to give us some tips....Hope we can find something soon to help us.
