Digital Scrapbooking 101

I'm doing a comp at the moment and the brief for the LO is to use an advanced scrapper's technique - examples are given such as blending or extraction, but as I've done those in previous rounds, I thought I'd like another technique to try and show off:D

I've just found a tutorial here for blending one photo into another, and I'd count that as advanced...just wondering what other people consider advanced!!

TIA for any help!

PS I'd expect other people in the comp have posted to ask this question, but now the site's server is down for repair or relocation or some such, so I can't get in there, hence trying to pick your brains!!!!

How about doing a layout where you really manipulate the shadows by separating them from their layers and then warping them, etc.?

LOL that sounds REALLY advanced!!!
Great suggestion though...I'd need to find out how to do that though:D

I did find links to 2 great tutorials on extraction and OOB, so may go for one of those as they're listed in the challenge as suitable...the OOB one esp as I've not done that before!

Thanks for the reply!
