Kayla L - If you've already done a DVD prior outside of ACDSee, do you need to put it back on the computer again to put tags on them to retain the info? Thanks!

I just got ACDSee 10 for Christmas and I'm trying to figure out an easy way to tag all my stuff. I didn't realize that I had so much digi stuff. I guess I really need to get to work and start tagging and organizing everything.

So how much different is this from the original acdsee? I would LOVE to be able to have this work on my external HD so I could use it at home with my PC or when I travel with my Laptop. DRIVES me crazy when I use my laptop and don't have my organized files, takes SOOOOO much longer.

WOW they stay tagged even when you put them on a DVD!! Oh I am going to want this aren't I and my pocket is looking a bit empty! lol

I don't think 2009 is much different from 10. Yes they do stay tagged if you move them from ACDSee - you can also archive photos and other things to DVD from ACDSee and retain the information. Hard drives fail so DVDs are a great way to backup things. I always do mine with 2 DVD backups just in case.

I have ACDSee10. Just trying to figure it out. Is it much different than the 2009?

I just got ACDSee and trying to decide how to organize my photos. With the birth of our first grandson and the 365 project I am taking many more pictures. Is there any favorite method that anyone uses? Also I have an external hard drive and when I move my photos there will the tags stay with them anyone know?
