I experimented with the PSE 7 trial and then purchased it from Costco. I'm happy to report that there are no problems so far and that the tutorial CD that comes with the Costco package is very good. Additionally, when I signed up for a digital scra…

I'm a newbie to digital scrapbkg & presently using PSE 5 . . . thinking to buy PSE 7 while Costco has their $30-off coupon. BUT recommended processor speed is 2 GHz and my notebook is abt 1.5 GHZ. Has anyone used PSE 7 with less than the recommended…

Fantastic, quick tutorial! So many digital scrapbookers don't realize what a dramatic difference a miniscule amount of time can make to their pics. I've used levels and contrast in the past, but this material adds a huge amount to my knowledge.

If you are new to digital scrapbooking and want a taste of the basics, this is a great place to start. Includes the video tutorials and FREE class materials for Kayla's four week DS101 class created for Weber State University.

Thank you so-o-o much, Kayla, for a great series of video tutorials! I've spent $$ on PhotoShop classes, including a scrapbooking with PS class, but your free tutorials are more valuable to me than I can calculate . . . plus I can replay them as muc…

"Tell us about yourself ... " What a daunting request! How do I encapsulate me . . . a snapshot of my life--current, past, future? Personality, family, wishes versus real accomplishments? Here goes.
When I married in 1974 as a child of a broken family, I was determined that my marriage would last, and it has! Michael and I have three adult children, two of whom are married, and three precious grandchildren. We are blessed to live within minutes of them all.
I am a pharmacist. Michael was fantastic when I was going through pharmacy school, supporting the family both financially and organizationally. Now we reap the innumerable benefits of that hard work and my graduation at age 35.
We have enjoyed travelling together over the past decades, including four cruises, but now we've settled into being grandparents and visiting our parents in Montana and Arizona (my dad and stepmom are "snowbirds").
We are becoming more and more involved in securing the safety of our community through Neighborhood Mobile Watch and emergency preparedness through Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training and team-building.
My interests in family include genealogy and family history, although my "wishes" far exceed the real accomplishments. For instance, I have lots of scrapbooking supplies--real and digital--but have hardly any layouts to show for all that investment of money and time. Thank heavens I know that I'm not the only one! ;)

What Software do you use to do digital scrapbooking? More than one answer is completely ok.
Since visiting this site and its great tutorial videos, I am using PS Elements, although I also have PhotoShop
CS2.
