Thanks for the link! I was afraid you'd forgotten; should have known better!

Looks like a good link. I never thought about anything except address labels, file folders, etc. Here one can make personalized stickers! Love it.

I just saw a template for bookplates. If I can find the right size sticker, I'm going to do some for a "reader" friend of mine. THanks for steering me in a new direction, pam!

Thanks for the encouragement! This is my first time putting one of my pages on any site ever. It was much easier than I though it would be :-)

If you'll download that JessicaSprague template, the bottom layer is her grid. Delete all other layers, save as (give it new name) Then you'll have your grid more easily, I think! HTH

Tip: Taking photos in the snow.

If you have a snow setting on your camera, be sure to use it! In a snow environment, your camera thinks there is too much light and darkens your photos. The snow setting will take a more normal exposure for you.

If you are shooting in manual mode or similar, take a test shot and use your exposure compensation to get a lighter result.

To lighten a dark snow photo, open photo in editing program, copy to a layer, set blending mode to screen. If this is too light, reduce opacity. If… Continue

Amazingly Easy: Creating Your Own Family Network Site.

My extended family is very scattered. Several states. Budget challenges have caused our visits to be few. Few visits with cousins, aunts, uncles, even grandparents. I've tried several things over the years to take advantage of technology and connect the family (it's the first born in me) but the efforts haven't been wildly successful. That is until recently.

A few months ago I discovered the folks that created Ning, a means to create your own social network. Finding this Digital Scrapboo… Continue

Plan Ahead: Christmas Layout Idea Here

While "shopping" over coffee this morning, I saw this layout and it gave me an idea...

This would be a great way to scrap the gift tages from your Christmas packages. I have always thought the gift tags were charming and hated to throw them out. And often, they contain sentiment. (or homemade art)

you could lay them out and scan them or carefully photograph them, or go hybid and use the real thing.

Online Color Scheme Thingy

Try it out here

I think playing with this could be addictive.

There are other online color scheme tools I'm sure. Anyone have a favorite?

I'm still at version 4 and seriously looking into upgrading. The feature I really want is the patch tool! A create template action would be so amazing.
