Yesterday Adobe released their Photoshop iPhone application. While I haven't had a lot of time to play, I did have a lot of fun with these images (keep in mind they were taken in the evening, in my studio with not the best light) -
Before - straight out of iPhone camera -

After - I adjusted the exposure in the iPhone Photoshop and added a bit more saturation along with a white frame...

Now for a vintage suitcase...

Now with the Warm Vintage effect in the app (this would be a lot better if the app had the ability to adjust the strength of the effect - but you get the general idea) -

So why would you want Photoshop for your phone? As
Chase Jarvis says, "The
best camera is the one that's with you." Most of the photos I take with my iPhone I am quickly blogging or posting to Facebook or Twitter. Being able to slightly edit images taken with my iPhone in Photoshop Mobile before they are posted without ever visiting my workstation is really cool.
Photoshop Mobile gives you the option to adjust cropping, exposure, tint, saturation, black and white along with several action like effects - everything from soft black and white to vignette and blur. The only thing I wish they would do is make a change allowing you to adjust the opacity of the effects - that would be fabulous.
Bottom Line - it is a FREE app - you can't go wrong giving it a spin... You can
find it here. Enjoy.
