Digital Scrapbooking 101

I just joined the CT for Ellie Lash. I was really nervous about my first posting. Check it out and let me know what you think.....please don't comment about the typos. I know they are there. They always sneak by me no matter how many times I read and reread my post before posting. Oh well, it is what makes me me, a little unperfect but loveable anyways.

I am excited because I even designed these pages using my new Memory Mixer software that I won from the free giveaway last month. It was fun and challenging to learn a new software. I was grateful that I had it so I could get my pages printed in an hour. Usually I create on HM and them order my pages. Delivery of pages usually takes 5 days. I procrastinated and did not get my pages back in time. So I pulled out the Memory Mixer and whipped up some pages and sent them out to sam's club one hour photo lab. I do like the quality of prints way better from HM but it is not alway convenient to wait 5 days for prints, like this week. So my first post was possible thanks to Memory Mixer, so thank you!!!

Thank you. It was a fun project. I am going to check out the google spell checker for post.
My scanner is wonderful. It is a professional line through Kodak S1220. I know the i220 is available in stores but does not run as fast. It was a HUGE investment. I could have bought two laptops for the cost of the scanner. It is something that you might not want unless you were interested in using it for scanning others photos. I purchased mine through the company I consult for and use it for scanning my customers photos. I teach digital workshops in my home and others. Many people want to digiscrap and they want to do projects with their old photos. But they were overwhelmed at the thought of scanning all of the photos on a flat bed. There are over 100 of these scanners across the country. So let me know where you are at and I can see if one is close to you and you would not have to buy your own. You could pay a very reasonable price to scan your photos

I love that you let your daughter add the finishing touches to her Star of the Week, so CUTE! :)
Great layouts and congrats on being on Ellie's CT!
Oh I am very interested in knowing more about your scanner, I am in the market for one.
Also, I am a rotten speller! lol Did you know Google has a spell checker that you can keep on your tool bar so it will check any post? I LOVE IT :)
