Call for Guest Bloggers
We are so busy working behind the scenes to update the site, we thought it might be fun to see a few new voices on DS101. We are looking for the following:
- Short tutorials with tips and techniques you use in digital scrapbooking. Scrapbook Kit Designers are welcome to teach with your product and store links in the post.
- Educators we would love to see just a tidbit of something you are teaching in an upcoming class.
- Digital Scrapbookers who still consider themselves "Newbies" - what is your favorite tip? Your favorite tool? Your favorite software? Your favorite inspiration? We would LOVE your perspective as we have new digital scrapbookers join this site everyday who would really benefit from what you can share.
- Digital Scrapbookers who love the "layout design" end of things - Would you be willing to take us step by step through how you are inspired as you create your layouts? Or what you think makes a great digital scrapbooking kit or layout? Trends you see in the digital scrapbooking kits/layouts/photos/ etc.?
- Hybrid scrapbookers - we would love to see your latest project and tips on doing hybrid well.
- Photography Tips - have a secret for Christmas card photos you want to share? Want to talk about how to find a good photography location? Your favorite inspirational photography websites?
- Those of you who have massive anxiety attacks at the thought of doing a guest post, I want your input too - who would you love to see as a guest blogger on DS101? Anyone's layouts that standout in the gallery that you would love some ideas on how they get their creative inspiration? Share your nominations in the commments!
These are just a few ideas - we are open to others as well! Just email me at The Legacy Lady @ Gmail.com with your idea and "Guest Post" in the subject line. In the body of your message please share your member name on Digiscrap101. We would also love to see links to your online galleries, blog, facebook, twitter, etc. although they are not required.
We want more YOU here. Things you are interested in and want to talk about. Have something you want to share? Please drop me a line!
Just in case you are curious, If you are chosen to do a guest post, your post (with links to your blog, store, Twitter, etc.) will be shared with over 1400 members of Digiscrap101 as well as tweeted and facebooked to many others. We receive around 5000 visits to the site weekly. This is a great opportunity to share your knowledge with others while at the same time gaining some exposure for your work.
Also let me stress that you don't have to be a big name in scrapbooking to guest post here - we are looking for EVERYDAY SCRAPBOOKERS to share everyday tips and techniques! So send your suggestion in!
